PAINTED ROCKS
Here are some images of rocks that I painted. Â I'm a huge fan of the #KindnessRocks project. I don't sell these rocks, they are meant to be hidden for children and/or adults to find. Â Just to brighten someone's day.

TURTLE ROCK
The design for this rock came from the book Painting Animals on Rocks.  It was actually quite a large rock. Large rounded rocks that aren't too thick are perfect for this project.

A LITTLE GROUP READY TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK!
This is a group of rocks that I hid a while back. Â Triangular shaped rocks make wonderful winged hearts. Â One of my favorite things to paint!

SPARROW
The  rock often inspires what is painted on it.  Sometimes you instantly see what should be painted and that is my favorite kind of rock to find.  The kind that speaks to you.

FOX ROX
Another rock that spoke to me. Â I mean really, it had ears!

BLUE BIRD OF HAPPINESS FEELING SAD
I love to paint blue birds on rocks. Â This shape comes up over and over again. Â My Grandmother had a glass blue bird of happiness that I loved and know I have my own. Â This little blue bird looks a little sad, but it's ok little fella, you don't have to be happy all the time. Â You have your moment and that's ok.

TRI-FORCE!
My husband and daughter are Zelda addicts. Â I make all kinds of Zelda inspired art for them. Â Tokens of love.

OWL CHOOSE TO BE KIND EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT
I absolutely love owls. Â How can a fierce predator of the night look so cute? Â Well, cuz we're humans and not mice for one thing.

SEA URCHIN
Another rock inspired by a rock painting book. Â Repetitive dots make great designs on rocks and they are easy to do if you use sophisticated tools, like toothpicks or the end of a dowel rod.

OLD ORANGUTAN
I'm not a painter. Â Canvases intimidate me. Â This was the first time I attempted to paint a realistic animal. Â Rocks are small and free and if you don't like the way it turns out you can bury it in a hole and never think of it again. Â Very liberating.
